Late last year, as fate would have it I moved my office next to a local card shop. As a child, I collected mostly baseball and basketball cards. Interestingly enough, now I seem to have more football cards than anything else.
Over the past six months, much to the chagrin of my wife, I've amassed a nice collection of mostly newer cards. I tend to collect autographed and game used cards although I do quite a bit of wheeling and dealing on the Freedomcardboard and EBay.
This is a place where I hope other rejuvenated collectors who had a passion for collecting as a child have gained a new interest in the hobby.
Last night, I had the opportunity to introduce my nephew and his brother to my collection. They had a ball going through the cards and I believe that it will be something we can share. My wife has taken an interest in my hobby as well knowing that it can be an investment. She's often bringing me back blasters and helping me find deals online.
